I can't say enough good things about this read; Memorable characters, a twisting plot that keeps evolving in ways unexpected, vivid imagery, and the kind of storytelling that's been seemingly lost in recent years all come together in an adventure unlike any other. I kept finding myself wishing a motion picture was due out in theaters soon.Matt and Kyle, the unlikely not-hero heroes, were reminiscent of Ash from the Evil Dead in the best ways. Reluctant, yet too good-hearted to simply walk away, they make for solid, believable protagonists that don't disappoint.
I anxiously await the next book in this series.

I came here looking for gay erotica and found this'. I'm not really a sci-fi guy but did enjoy this. The book needs more character development, especially "Gene". I read hoping the author would explore the obvious sexusl tension between Gene and Melissa but, didn't. Perhaps a deliberate open door for a sequel? I hope so.
This was the greatest literary masterpiece of our time.
Cuddle up with this book for 20 minutes and you'll be out like a light...after you unf*ck your mind from trying to figure out what it is you're reading.
This was a great little toilet reader. If you like to read on the Jon. I enjoyed the character layouts, and the story was quite catching. Can't wait for the next read.

I think this is the authors first book? Don't let that scare you away - because it's great. Original material with a sprinkle of Hitchhikers Guide meets Troma. Lots of good humor, lots of 'WTF did I just read' moments and a genuinely intriguing storyline. If you dig horror/sci-fi or just plain weird, you'll really dig this. I eagerly await the next adventure this author can dream up, it was a lot of fun.
